  • Processor speed: the processor is the brain of any computing or decision making device. In our case, it is the laptop. When choosing a laptop, one must consider the speed of the laptop. The more the processor speed, the faster the execution of the applications and the programs that will run on the laptop. Many applications require high power processors to be able to be run. This is such as AutoCAD and heavy Java programs. If the person buying the laptop intends to run such heavy program, he must buy a laptop with high speed. The Intel core 2 Duo is the most recommended in the market today.

  • Memory Capacity: The RAM is used for storing data temporarily during data processing it is a short term memory. The RAM is preferable to be larger to speed up the laptop. The larger the RAM size, the more numbers of applications that can be open on the laptop at the same time. If the RAM size is full at any time, the laptop will be hanging or stop and may need for restart. A RAM of 1 GB must be the minimum value used but 2GB RAM is better as the minimum value. On the other hand, the storage memory which is known as the hard disk is the unit that stores the data when the laptop is off. Any saved files are stored on the hard disk. Therefore, the more the hard disk in size, the more files can be stored. This will depend from user to ser on which size to choose but the sie of 150 GB is the minimum.

  • Battery life: the larger the batter life, the more reliable the laptop and the mush work can be done on the laptop at a time. Typical values for the battery life are from 2-3 hours but 5 hours battery life can be found in the market. Many laptops come with multiple batteries but at the expense of the cost. If the budget allows it will worth it because it will give more work time on the laptop.

My summer so far!

Hey all! it's been a long time since i posted here on my blog, i lost interest in typing in this blog. But now i'm back :) My Summer 2019: So my grandma came from Brazil to visit us here in Lebanon! I'm half brazilian half Lebanese by the way! Anyways, she's been here for almost 2 months and she's traveling back home in 1.5 weeks. So far, i am mostly spending my summer in my village called Lala. It is located in the west bekaa of Lebanon. Here's a picture i took of it while hiking there: July 28,2019 The village is nice but i rarely visit there.
